Weekend Brunch: Add a Bit of Pumpkin

October and pumpkins go hand in hand like popcorn and movies. When you’re walking through the grocery store and see an entire section dedicated to pumpkin-flavored versions, like pumpkin ravioli, pumpkin lentil chips, pumpkin butter, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin muffins, it can start to feel a bit… over-the-top. You may even start to resent the obsession with the ribbed, deep orange-y colored plant.

But then, you see your favorite chai mix in a pumpkin version. You pause and immediately grab it. After you place the pumpkin-flavored-chai mix into your grocery basket, a bit of you softens to the obsession with pumpkins during October. You get a little hint of the season’s change within yourself, and you start finding ways to incorporate the ridged fruit into every dish imaginable.

While we aren’t going to help you do it for every dish this month, we did gather some of the most mouth-watering weekend brunch recipes to share with your family and friends during October. Each recipe has a little bit of our favorite autumnal fruit: the pumpkin.
