Terms of Endearment We know this one is a tear-jerker, but we felt our mother-daughter movie list wouldn't be complete without this ultimate favorite. Pride and Prejudice This Jane Austen classic has to be one of our favorite love stories. What’s better than watching the epic love story of Mr. Darcy and Elzibeth Bennet with your mom? Our favorite version of the film has to be the TV miniseries starring Colin Firth. But if you don’t have a spare five hours, the shorter, most recent version with Keira Knightley will do the trick, too.

Little Miss Sunshine Although this movie is more about a family’s relationship together rather than just a mother-daughter, this funny film deserves a watch. The entire family is along for the ride to California when Olive, the youngest of the family, is invited to participate in a Little Miss Sunshine beauty pageant.

Little Women Whether you’ve seen this classic once or a hundred times, it’s never a bad idea to watch it one more time. We love listening to Jo, played by Winona Ryder, tell the story of her sisters and their path from girls to women.

Erin Brockovich We love how Julia Roberts plays Erin Brockovich, an unemployed single mother who takes on a job as a legal assistant and ends up building a case against PG&E, eventually bringing them down. She's fiery, sexy, a force to be reckoned, yet still stays an inspiration for her family.
