Rio Malibu Maxi Is Our Pick Of The Week

All of our colorful bright styles are so comfy and stylish it’s an incredibly difficult task to pick just ONE to present to our Facebook fans every Monday. If you don’t know already, each week we happily showcase our latest Pick of the Week, an absolutely must-have style, and an even more must-have price.

Which favorite style was lucky enough to be crowned to reign as our current Pick Of The Week? A Fresh Produce classic, of course—the flirty, feminine, and simply flattering Rio Malibu Maxi Dress made the cut.

“LIKE” Fresh Produce on Facebook so stay in the loop about next week’s pick (we make announcements every Monday). You can always find our current POTW right here on the Fresh Produce website.

I don’t have a particular choice, but I do have a lament. About 95% of all the dresses I see anywhere are sleeveless. For us early to mid-sixties group and on, most of us would like to see at least a 3/4 length sheer sleeve. When I was younger I never believed the arms would be something I wouldn’t want to show much of but now I’m a believer! I’ll bet a line of nothing but cleverly designed dresses and blouses to cover that area without looking frumpy would be a big hit! We’re still young, you know? But the dang arms. Who would have thought?

I love the Park Avenue Pedal Pushers, with a sweatshirt or essential cardigan. And, I love the story of Fresh Produce’s beginning!!

I agree with the comment above regarding the need for sleeves on dresses! I love Fresh Produce but the choices of dresses with sleeves is lacking. Please have your designers consider this request on behalf of many of us older beach goers!

Thank you so much for your feedback, Miss Vicki. We understand that arms can be a troublesome area for you (and us!). Have you tried our Boca, Eve, Flutter Sleeve, Twist Front or Sun Catcher Dresses?
Those are great options for dresses with sleeves.

I sell Fresh Produce…..I have found every customer has some perceived body issue. I have had people tell me they have ugly ankles! Or elbows or other odd parts that surprise me. The old and the young have issues, the heavy and the slender have issues. I have two suggestions that I share with my loyal customers…one, regarding the sleeveless dresses….I think a darling little shrug or lightweight cardigan are a great way to have some coverage with these dresses. Two, as I always tell them….be the best YOU that you can be right now whether that be at age 18 or 80 and whether it be a fit size 2 or a soft size 16. When you are the best YOU that you can be all of those other things are not relevant…arms included! 🙂

Thank you so much for your comment. We love your way of thinking because that’s how we feel, too. It’s great that you can share your positive thoughts and assertions to the women in your store. We all could use a little pep talk like this.
