Each season, Pantone releases a palette of select colors in their “fashion color report.” Designers & fashionistas alike look to the report to gain insight into what colors to focus on adding to their collections and wardrobes.
But you don’t have to be fashion-forward to have style. Let’s check out some of the colors from their report that closely match some Fresh Produce colors…who knows, you may already have some in your closet!
Pantone color French Roast is very similar to Truffle—a rich, deep brown certainly reminiscent of chocolate & coffee shops. Pair such a deep neutral with another lighter brown, or add a pop or color with orange or pink.
The Pink Flambe Pantone color is a saturated and flirty pink—much like our Cosmos. Pair with olive or a bright green, opposite the colorwheel, for a bright & fabulous effect. Or pair Cosmos with a lighter pink, Like Blush. Pairing tonal colors is very “in” this season—it’s a version of color blocking, which has certainly been popular since early this year. The Rose Smoke Pantone color is very similar to our Blush—a light, dusty pink that will carry well into next spring.
The orange Tangering Tango Pantone swatch is a close match to our Sunrise color—orange with a hint of red, making it closer to coral…and who doesn’t love coral? Hopefully it’s a color that’s already found its way to your wardrobe—now you know you can wear it through the fall! Sunrise goes well with whites and greys. The Titanium Pantone is also a nice choice and it’s comparable to our color Oyster. Although we’re adamant color lovers, we also love the power of grey to balance out nearly any outfit.
