I have always worn orange – orange lipstick, orange dress on the first day of school teaching, orange to brighten and shine wherever I am. It always looked looked and produced cheer and happiness to others who liked it.

This was an interesting email. It was very informative.As an artist, color is very important to me. I think orange is a tough color to wear. For me personally, I must stay away from any orange that tends toward the yellow. I think of “tangerine” in this family. The closest thing to orange that I can wear is a pink coral and that is not great. I would never choose any shade of orange for a top. I might choose it for capris but probably not. I stay away from yellows and yellow greens, also. I am better in vibrant but cooler tones like periwinkle, turquoise, aqua, hot pink rather than tangerine, burgundy rather than scarlet. I am glad I have that choice at Fresh Produce. Actually, the “in” color does not effect my choice. I choose colors that flatter me and that would not be orange.

SILK … in lightweights and in mid-weight charmeuse … with signature FP colors & prints would be so lovely. By comparison cotton and rayon are so, well, clunky.
